ADDITIONAL CASES are documented and prepared, additional casses will be added to the lawsuit over the next month and a half, EXPECT MORE PAY LESS, has become TARGET STORES HIRING PRACTICE, hiring employees often at minimum wage or a little better is what they have truely become. Target stores started cutting management positions in the early 90's, eliminating level 2 and level 3 positions, trying to cut costs. At this time perioc their stores were only over the 500+ locations, wanting to expand their market, they began trying to stream line their work force, eliminating hirer paying positions and requiring entry level positions to take ownership. Great idea, also a great idea to impliment TEAMWORK. But you can not just add Team to a managers position without providing the tools needed to create a teamwork environment. This was the lowest paying position I, CHRISTOPHERJOHN, have ever held with any company, of equal responsibilities. I never complained about my salaries, but after hiring people over my 5 years of employment with Target. Found even hiring people 5 cents above suggested Minimum Hiring Rate was met with negative reaction from my direct reports. When you are trying to improve the quality of hiring, and recruiting personal for positions, pay should be compensated to their position and responsibilities. Target does not get this... Target losses some of it's best Managers to other companies, because they were offered more else where, for the same work. THIS IS THE TRUTH. EXPECT MORE PAY LESS IS TARGET'S HIRING PRACTICE TODAY, not their customer service slogan.
